Digital Downloads for free such as as guides as a form of valuable digital content for students. Interactive Media by creating surveys and quizzes within the app.
Social Networking & Online Communities
The mobile app will serve as a social network allowing the integration of online communities and subcultures like international students in Niagara Region. This will contribute to the cultural exchange within the app and the creation of new subcultures that may influence cultural and social norms.
Content Curation & Algorithm
The website and the app will show curated and relevant content about the city and the international student's life in Niagara. It will prioritize content moderation with a Terms of Use politics or another system that allows moderate the app.
Digital Citizenship
Promote good practices in the digital space is mandatory as the app must be an online safe space that prevents cyberbullying and foster a respectful communication among students.
Social Impact
"This study is relevant as it will contribute to developing an innovative Mobile Application for cultural exchange among international students in the region, benefiting newcomer students, current students and businesses at the same time. This platform might help companies promote their services, and aims to be the go-to place for every student in the Niagara Region.
